In this class we will be making two soldered mini journals. One will be 1 and 1/2 inch and the other 1 inch. We will condition our leather and apply artwork from the made to look vintage papers from Frank Garcia Studio. Basic soldering skills and equipment required. Please feel free to bring any images to personalize your pieces. Also some charms and chains will be given but will vary from the samples in the studio. You may bring anything you'd like to make your journal your own.

Kit includes:

Leather, Glass, tape and jump rings, Assortment of papers, Ribbons, Charms and chains, Supply list:, Soldering kit (iron, stand, rheostat, solder, flux of choice with brush), Bone folder or fid, Jewelry tools, Crappy pliers your can get flux on, Heat resistant gloves, E6000 with fine tip.

*A note about the solder. I use Silvergleem. Regular solder will work. But if you want the silver shine like the samples you will need the Silvergleem solder roll. There is an option to pre-order this solder and it will be available to the day of class.
